“The challenge of ministry in our home is that we do not always feel very “spiritual” when we wash our dishes. It hardly feels significant to scrub our toilet. and we can feel that we are truly ministering when the Lord uses us to communicate a word of wisdom to someone, or He provides an opportunity to share the gospel with our neighbor. That seems like real ministry. And that is real ministry to be sure! But no more so than when we are wiping runny noses or cleaning the bathroom. That is because we have a very narrow view of true spirituality… The Lord wants to help us see the significance of ministry at home. He also wants to expand our vision for the multiple opportunities that we have for ministry in the home. Let’s ask the LORD to help us gain a biblical perspective of our ministry at home.”⁣

Are you a tired mom out there who feels like every Are you a tired mom out there who feels like everything you work so hard to get done seems to get almost immediately undone? Communicating clearly and pointing our children to Christ in our conversations with them is hard. Nurturing the hearts of our children is hard work. Day in and day out, the workday of a mom can be physically and emotionally exhausting.⁣

I can assure you there is One who knows what it is like to be exhausted. ⁣

Titus 2:3-5

[3] Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, [4] and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, [5] to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.

As Christians, prayer should be an essential part As Christians, prayer should be an essential part of our lives. Spending time in prayer with our Heavenly Father grows us in our relationship with Him; it rights our thinking, gives us peaceful hearts and love towards one another, and is an act of worship to the Lord.⁣
⁣
I hope we will not neglect this spiritual discipline that is the most precious gift from our Lord next to our salvation. We always have a loving Father to communicate our emotions, desires, and concerns. Prayer is simply talking to God. As we come to Him in prayer, it reminds us of our utter dependence on Him for all things.⁣
⁣
As I’m recommending books on prayer, I want to share two of my favorite prayer apps. @prayermateapp has organized my prayer life and kept me consistently praying for the needs of others on a regular basis. Prayer notebook app (link in the post) I keep on my phone and pray through daily. I have seven categories, one for each day of the week and an area to add in prayer as friends and family request prayer needs. ⁣

If we want proof of God’s love for us, then we m If we want proof of God’s love for us, then we must look first at the Cross, where God offered up His Son as a sacrifice for our sins. Calvary is the one objective, absolute, irrefutable proof of God’s love for us.⁣

Jesus is the only righteous one who perfectly deli Jesus is the only righteous one who perfectly delighted in the law of the Lord and meditated on it day and night. Jesus is like the tree planted by streams of water. His life was abundantly fruitful, and all that He did, He prospered. His life, death, and resurrection accomplished the salvation of sinners—all those who can’t live up to the demands of Psalm 1 but put their faith and trust in Jesus alone for salvation.⁣
