10 Great Books on Prayer

by Marci Ferrell
Christian Living Prayer Praying for Our Children Praying for Our Husbands Top 10 Book Recommendations Series

As Christians, prayer should be an important part of our lives. Spending time in prayer with our Heavenly Father grows us in our relationship with Him; it rights our thinking, gives us peaceful hearts and love towards one another, and is an act of worship to the Lord.

Out of all the emails and messages I get, most of them are regarding book recommendations so over the next months I'm going to add top ten book recommendations on various topics. Prayer is one of those areas as believers we all desire to grow in and that we would come to know what it means to "pray without ... continue reading...

EP 23: Seasons of Waiting

by Marci Ferrell
Biblical Womanhood Christian Living Encouragement Marriage Motherhood Podcast Prayer Praying for Our Children Praying for Our Husbands Spiritual Discipleship

As I’m sharing this episode I’m finding myself in a waiting room on the Lord, and it’s been a long one, and I don’t see an end near.  It has reminded me that when I gave myself to Him, I gave up my “right” to be in charge. The reality is we never were in charge anyway; we just came to that understanding when the Lord opened our eyes to His sovereign control over our lives. @mferrell
