A tool that has helped me immensely over the years to stay on tasks whether it's household chores, reading, time on social media, blog work, paying bills, and a host of other items is just a simple household timer. @mferrell

Do you ever find yourself flitting from task to task and at the end of the day realizing you didn’t finish any of them? Do you have trouble staying focused and on task? It is a simple tool we all have either on our phones, wrists, or in the back of a drawer somewhere, and it will keep you focused, efficient, and you’ll accomplish more in much less time than you think.

“There is no such thing as Christian work. Christian work is any kind of work, from cleaning a sewer to preaching a sermon that is done by a Christian and offered to God. It means that nobody is excluded from serving God. It means that no work is beneath a Christian. It means there is no job in the World that needs to be boring or useless. A Christian finds fulfillment not in the particular kind of work he does, but in the way in which he does it. Work done for Christ all the time must be full-time Christian work.” ~Elisabeth Elliot, Discipline: The Glad Surrender

“When I remembered to look up instead of around me and to offer the work to the Lord, it was much easier and more pleasant.” ~Elisabeth Elliot, Discipline: The Glad Surrender
