5 Benefits We Have in Christ – {Colossians 1:12-14}

by Marci Ferrell
Christian Living Prayer Theology

As saints, we have been transferred from darkness to light, slavery to freedom, from guilt to forgiveness. @mferrell

  I have been camping in Colossians, working through it inductively for quite a while now, and there is so much to pull from this rich book. Being reminded of all the riches we have in Christ, is a sweet reminder to give thanks to the Lord in and through all things. So many times I spend time in prayer asking God for things, and they can even be good things, meeting spiritual needs in my life and the lives of others. But as I search my heart and ponder God's goodness and ... continue reading...

As we grow in our understanding of God’s Word, we will develop convictions ... continue reading...

May we be women who meet with Jesus every day. @mferrell

  It's the start of a new year, and we all have goals and hopes, and dreams to accomplish this year. Some of us may have written them down, and others may just keep them in our heads. I know as a believer one of the desires that are always in the back of my mind is getting more time with the Lord. At the start of the new year after working through my spiritual priorities, I sit and plan what my time with the Lord will look like in the mornings. My hope is you're not giving up ... continue reading...

Inductive Bible Study & A Walk Through Ephesians

by Marci Ferrell
Bible Study Christian Living

Studying a book inductively opens up spiritual riches I never realized were there.

  I can be a bit unfocused and jump around from book to book at times when it comes to studying God's Word. I can be disciplined in reading the Word, and praying and memorizing (thank you Scripture Typer app!) but my study time was undisciplined. Getting back into Inductive Bible Study has helped me to camp in one book and have direction when it's time for me to sit and study.  I get a good understanding of the book I'm in because of the time spent in it just reading and ... continue reading...
