Keep Pressing Forward in the Word & Prayer
How many times have you started a project and didn’t finish it? A book and only read part of it? A bible reading plan and just stopped in the middle of it? What about a weight loss plan? Healthy eating habits? I have done all of the above (and lots more), and I’ve learned one simple thing: you can pick right back off where you stopped and start again.
From My Bookshelf to Yours
I’m reading A Chance to Die by Elisabeth Elliot again, and it’s just as powerful the second time through. Amy Carmichael’s life of sacrificial love and unwavering devotion to Christ continues to challenge and encourage me—I highly recommend it.

This Week’s Favorite

My husband and I have been loving these zero‑calorie, electrolyte‑infused drinks—you know, the kind you sip when you want something more than water but still light and refreshing. They’ve been our go‑to on hot afternoons.
Quote of the Week:
“There needs to be a homemaker exercising some measure of skill, imagination, creativity, desire to fulfill needs and give pleasure to others in the family. How precious a thing is the human family. Is it not worth some sacrifice in time, energy, safety, discomfort, work? Does anything come forth without work?”
