What Does it Look Like to Set Your Minds on Things Above?
This past weekend our church had an outreach at our state fair to hand out water bottles and gospel tracts. It reminded my heart how often it lacks focus on the things above. I can be more earthly minded instead of heavenly minded. So, I'm reading and pondering what it means to have minds and hearts set on things above. As believers, we all desire to be spiritually mature in our walk with the Lord. We want to be more like Christ in our hearts, speech, thoughts, lives, and relationships with others. Serving the Lord in Our Mundane Moments
Our lives are lived in the mundane moments. It's in the dishes and laundry and caring for our families where we find ourselves spending most of our days. There are always messes to clean up, bills to pay, emails to answer, needs to be met, phone calls to make, floors to wash and rooms to be dusted.
