by Marci Ferrell
Biblical Womanhood Christian Living Time Management Uncategorized

A simple guide to help in planning your yearly spiritual priorities to help you make the best use of your time. @mferrell

I am a calendar and planner lover.  I love lists and making goals and seeking to make the most of my days.  I'm also aware of how easy it is to become overwhelmed, miserable, and really exhausted when I don't have a good plan in place to make the most of my days. You can read the post below or listen in to the podcast where I share more information: I want to share today a system I've used for years on planning my spiritual priorities for the year.  It has ... continue reading...

Spiritual journaling is a way to slow our lives down and ponder deeply over the events of the day. In my life journaling has helped me to grow spiritually by discerning my thoughts and motives. It has shown me areas where I need to give thanks and praise to the Lord. My journaling time has reminded me of situations or people I need to be in prayer for. Journaling is an excellent time for me to see areas of weakness and set spiritual goals and not always just spiritual but in ... continue reading...

"To be forgiven is such sweetness that honey is tasteless in comparison with it.  But yet there is one thing sweeter still and that is to forgive." ~ C. H. Spurgeon As I'm writing and processing through this post I don't know what you my readers are coming to this post with.  I don't know the hurts in your lives.  Hurtful words, betrayal from a friend, disappointments, and even much darker areas of abuse to unspeakable offenses that many of us could not even fathom. Many times we can just ... continue reading...

God is in your most desperate situation. @mferrell

The message excerpt I'm sharing below is taken from a radio program that I believe every parent should listen to.  It is by Ney Bailey and she is sharing a program entitled "God is in Your Most Desperate Situation" at Revive Our Hearts. We are reminded that once we become Christians we are still going to deal with difficult situations and because of that, we are going to deal with varying emotions.  Ney reminds us in this message that we are to put our feelings and our trust in the Lord ... continue reading...

Don’t Waste Your Mornings

Bible Study Biblical Womanhood Christian Living Encouragement Prayer Time Management Uncategorized

A good morning starts the night before.  If you're going to make good decisions in the morning you need to plan ahead. @mferrell

I was listening to Don't Waste Your Mornings Ask Pastor John Podcast and appreciated the wisdom he had to offer on making the most of our mornings. In our technologically minded world we can easily get caught up in checking our phones or email first thing in the morning before we have sat at the feet of our Lord. Some of the reasons Pastor John gave for doing this hit home with me.  I am guilty too many times of checking my phone before checking my Bible.  We may want a ... continue reading...
