These are the three tools that I've used for many years to help keep my days organized and running a bit more smoothly. @mferrell

These are the three tools that I've used for many years to help keep my days organized and running a bit more smoothly. It's nothing earth-shaking here I'm sharing but just the simplicity of a calendar, to-do list, and a weekly menu plan. I always think these are probably tools our grandmothers used back in the day.  Every business seemed to give away free calendars, and most meals seemed to be eaten at home. My grandmother always had a list going on what task she was going to get ... continue reading...

My Top 50 Cleaning Shortcuts

by Marci Ferrell
Cleaning Homemaking Homemaking 101 Series Organization Time Management

We all love to save time and especially when we're cleaning. As we learn how to keep a home over the years, we develop shortcuts or time-savers in our cleaning. One way we do this is through our daily routines, but how many of us also learned that as a new housewife we spent more time cleaning things that didn't need to be cleaned just because we thought we had to. We don't have to clean the whole mirror each time but just wipe it where it's needed. We don't need to mop the whole floor ... continue reading...

Cleaning Encouragement Homemaking Homemaking 101 Series Mentoring Organization Podcast Time Management Titus 2

I know there are many listeners out there drowning in clutter and chaos and you don't know where to begin. My hope is to give you some encouragement and practical steps to begin to get some order in your home. @mferrell

I’m sharing today from a post I wrote quite awhile back called Where to Begin When You're Overwhelmed, and it was dealing with our home keeping. It’s been a very controversial post and people either have a love or hate relationship with it. I’m hoping you all are in the love camp today because I’m not a fan of being in the hate camp.  Before we begin, I want to lay out a statement here that I want you to remember as we walk through this. What I’m sharing is going to look ... continue reading...

Dear friends, I recorded this episode last year af Dear friends, I recorded this episode last year after sharing my testimony with my church family. It was one of the hardest podcast episodes to work through. ⁣
⁣
My testimony comes from one who remembers what it was like to be unsaved and seeking an abortion and now coming from the other side of being born again, a new creation in Christ and understanding the beauty of forgiveness and redemption in Christ. ⁣
⁣
No sin is beyond the grace and forgiveness of God, even the sin of abortion. True forgiveness, hope, and healing can only be found, but it is only found in Jesus Christ. ⁣
I pray you'll listen in if you haven't yet. ⁣

Have your doctrinal views, and all your knowledge of Christ, packed away in a handy form so that, when people want to know what you believe, you can tell them. If they wish to know why you believe that you are saved, have your answer all ready in a few plain, simple sentences; and in the gentlest and most modest spirit make your confession of faith to the praise and glory of God. Who knows but what such good seed will bring forth an abundant harvest?⁣
